Hypernetics, a division of Plaintree Systems Inc., designs, manufactures and markets high performance electromagnetic devices, supporting leading-edge and legacy business solutions for the aerospace industry for both commercial and military applications. Hypernetics is devoted to delivering innovative technology through cutting edge design and manufacturing processes.

Due to increased customer demand, we are currently recruiting for Assemblers to manufacture and assemble electromechanical devices. These are full-time positions, working 40 hours per week.

The Assembler will build, test and repair devices that combine mechanical parts and electrical systems to be used in the aerospace industry. Additional responsibilities include:

• Reading and following blueprints to understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics
• Referencing the blueprints, use hand tools to connect structural frames, wires, circuit boards and wires
• Soldering to join electrical wires and parts
• Testing and inspecting electromechanical devices to ensure appropriate functioning

• An understanding of electrical currents and mechanical moving parts
• Skilled in soldering and microscope assembly
• Experience with working to aerospace standards
• Experience with a team-based manufacturing environment
• Fine motor skills including steady hands and good eyesight for small, intricate components
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools
• Able to problem-solve and troubleshoot issues
• Able to read and interpret manufacturing instructions and drawings
• A generally detail-oriented person
